Marcelina - It's a great honour to be Miss Polonia. This contest has more than 80 years of tradition. Being a member of the honourable group of most beautiful Polish women is a great distinction for me. TIB - Who is Jasmyn Wilkins? Tell us something that will make us remember you.


Jasmyn - I am 21 years old and a current nursing student at Georgia State University in Atlanta. I am passionate about traveling, music and food. I come from a very athletic family background. My dad Gerald Wilkins and my uncle Dominique Wilkins played in the NBA for several years, and my brother Damien currently plays. However, growing up I was more interested in arts and sciences rather than sports (Ive been playing the saxophone for the past 12 years!) . TIB - There's a saying, 'If you have white skin, you can cover 1,000 ugliness’s. What do you think about this?


Atong - Human beings have been created in the image of God and that means in every colour, shape and size.  I believe that each and every one of us should be proud of who we are and how we look.  Too often, we women yield to pressure to change how we look or behave, when in fact the way we are is already perfect.  We should celebrate our differences as they enrich the world and remind ourselves that beauty is from within as well as from without.  ...more
